In today’s complex healthcare landscape, a variety of external stakeholders have an impact on launch success, some even in an early product development stage. Many stakeholders rely on the scientific and non-commercial role of Medical Affairs for the evidence they need in their decision-making process. This forces companies to set higher standards for scientific evidence generation and business acumen in their organisations to ensure a successful launch.
The Medical Affairs function must interact effectively with external stakeholders – including KOLs, HCPs, patients, caregivers, advocacy groups, payers, and policymakers – to progress a new product successfully from pre-launch up to launch. This E-Seminar will equip Medical Affairs managers with the CSFs, a roadmap and the key milestones they need to sit in a driving seat at the strategic launch table as from early product development.

In this E-Seminar, Edouard Demeire will discuss insight generating tools & techniques that allow you to truly understand the full patient ecosystem, and how to use these insights to develop high quality key drivers for a pharmaceutical.
Each topic will first be covered conceptually, then illustrated with an example and, finally, participants will work on an individual exercise to sharpen their implementation skills.

If you want people to give you complete and honest answers about all aspects of their public and private lives, you need to create a research environment that shows them they are trusted, respected, and engaged.
In this highly interactive masterclass, you will learn about the psychology of answering questions and how to apply that knowledge in a practical way to questionnaire design. We will learn to create questions that make people feel valued and respected, that accommodate normal human behaviours no matter how strange those behaviours may be, and that make people look forward to participating in the next research project.
What will you learn?
After completing this training, you should be able to:
- Understand how human psychology interacts with the questionnaire experience and how to write questions that accommodate normal behaviours
- Write questions that are kind and respectful towards people who are marginalised, and people who are embarrassed to share personal aspects of their lives
- Write questionnaires that people want to answer this time and the next
- Write questions that are fun and playful
By the end of the workshop, you will have built a set of resources that can be leveraged in a range of future questionnaires.
